Greetings colleagues and scholars!

Attached is a link to the final schedule of events for the 2026 Conference
of the North Carolina Association of Historians. The conference will be
held at the *Willie and Jacqueline Gilchrist Complex *on the campus of
Elizabeth City State University (1704 Weeksville Rd., Elizabeth City, NC). The
Gilchrist Complex can be found by making a left onto MEBANE DRIVE at the
red light across from Hockmeyer Industries. Gilchrist is right along
Weeksville Road next to a large drainage pond with a fountain. It is a
three-story brick building with ample parking right in front. Parking
passes will be distributed upon arrival and check in at the registration
table.

If you are presenting, please do not forget to send your panel chair a copy
of your paper at least 1 week prior to the conference. Even if you are not
presenting we hope you still plan to attend and enjoy the conference with
us. Registration for the conference is still available at
https://www.nchistorians.org/meeting-registration/

If anyone has any questions or concerns you can reach out to me, Eric Walls
(erockwalls at gmail.com) or to Dr. Glen Bowman (gcbowman at ecsu.edu). Please do
not reply to this email but rather email myself or Dr. Bowman directly.

We look forward to seeing everyone in just a couple of weeks!
